Playoff Game Times The Spartans will travel to Calhoun Friday to take on the Yellow Jackets in the first round of the state playoffs. Friday will be a double header, with the first game scheduled to start at 4:00 and game 2 to follow immediately after. If necessary, game 3 will be played on Saturday @ 2:00.

SPARTAN BOYS ADVANCE TO STATE SEMIFINALS ON SATURDAY
Coach Dana Davis reports: Our girls’ tennis team lost a hard fought match to Darlington on Monday afternoon. Our girls had an incredible season, finishing as region champs and an 18-5 record.
Our guys defeated Darlington on Monday by the score of 3-1. The guys now advance to the semi-finals at Stone Mountain on Saturday. Congratulations!
Gwinnett Daily Post report: GAC boys 3, Darlington 2 NORCROSS — Greater Atlanta Christian advanced to the Class AA state semifinals on Monday by defeating Darlington 3-2.
The Spartans (18-4) got wins from Chad Day at No. 3 singles and also got victories from the No. 1 doubles team of Dillon Loyd and Jesse Kent and from the No. 2 team of Michael Hutchinson and Kyle Walker.

Gwinnett Goal Club names All-County teams May 10, 2005 Gwinnett Daily Post
The Gwinnett Goal Club has named its All-County teams and Scholar-Athletes to be honored in a May 18 banquet at Norcross High School. The team is voted on by the county’s soccer coaches. The players of the year and coaches of the year aren’t released until the club’s banquet. The GAC girl and boy players honored by the club are listed below:

For those interested in playing lacrosse for the next school year, there is a meeting in G104 at 11:30 on Monday, May 16. You must be a rising 8th grader to a rising 10th grader to attend the meeting.

The Kings’ Gate Theatre season ends this tonight and Friday with the Dramatic Arts students' production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The play begins at 7:30, and tickets are $5.00 each. Come and finish the year with a fantasy and a little romantic comedy.
