Lipscomb in NCAA play-off 1st time

Lipscomb University # 15 seed will play Vanderbilt (winner of the SEC)& #3 seed, in the women's first round of the NCAA basketball tournament in Chattanooga. This is reported by Tom Pate ( 1974 GACS grad) who's daughter Katie Beth Pate ( 2002 GACS grad) is Lipscomb's center. Also, She was named the MVP of their conference championship this past Saturday.

This is Lipscomb's first year in division I,  so Bisons everywhere are very excited about the team's progress in reaching the NCAA tournament. We are also proud of the Spartan connection.
