GACS Spartan Baseball to Play at Turner Field  - The Spartans need the HELP of the entire GACS Family, from Kindergarten to High School, to help Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Children's Healthcare has long been a leader in pediatric medical healthcare. Their doors have always been open to all members of the community.  Now, it is OUR TURN to help them.
CHOA, again for the third year, will be hosting the Spring Baseball Classic. Money raised from these baseball games will benefit their Brain Tumor Services department. The funds are being allocated to purchase an intra-operative MRI machine, the purpose of which is to provide guidance during neurosurgical procedures. This kind of surgical navigation systems orients and guides the surgeon based on pre-operative and operative imaging. Using the intra-operative MRI minimizes the invasive nature of surgery for brain tumors, enhances the overall safety of brain procedures, and reduces hospital costs (like length of stay).  We need the support of GACS families and GACS family-owned businesses.  Please plan to buy tickets for your family and employees to attend this game.  The Spartans play against Wesleyan at

4:00 PM, followed by the long standing rivalry of UGA Vs, GA Tech.

Game Date: Wednesday, May 10, 2006.
First game: GAC Spartans v Wesleyan Wolves at 4:00pm.
Second game:  UGA Vs GT at 7:00pm.
Location: Turner Field.
Tickets are $10 each.
