ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Lady Spartan basketball team opened the region tournament with a 64-37 win over Banks County last night. Julio Stephens led all scorers with 14 points followed by Bria Smith with 11 and Kiki Swanier with 10. With this win the Lady Spartans qualify for the state tournament for the 6th year in a row and will now play Friday at Providence at 4:00 pm against the Buford- Lumpkin County winner.
