Gacs girls "Elite 8"!

The Lady Spartan basketball team moved into the round of Elite Eight for the third year in a row with a 54- 40 win over Pace yesterday.  We will now play East Hall Saturday afternoon at 4:00 at Mt. Zion high school in Jonesboro.  The winner of this game advances to the Final Four in Macon next week.  D’Nay Daniels led the Lady Spartans in scoring with 22 and added 7 rebounds.  Mollie Mitchell had 9 points and Julio Stephens added 8.  Kiara Swanier did a great job defending Pace’s leading scorer.  Congratulate these girls for this outstanding effort and come support them Saturday.
