Basket ball- Girls win! semi- finals next

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Lady Spartan basketball team had a great weekend in Jonesboro, winning two games over Pace and East Hall, to qualify for the Final Four in Macon this week.  We will be playing Dodge County at 4:00 Thursday afternoon at the Macon Coliseum in the state semi-finals.  The ladies played an excellent game Saturday afternoon against East Hall, winning 57-39.  D’Nay Daniels was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Lady Spartans with 19 points and 6 rebounds.  Kiara Swanier added 16 points and 4 assists in the game.  Bria Smith and Julio Stephens each had 7 points.  The Lady Spartans are now 24- 7 heading into the Thursday match-up with Dodge County.  Please congratulate these girls on their efforts and come support them Thursday in Macon!
