Baseball

The JV baseball team opened their season yesterday with a 7-5 win over Holy Innocents’.  Regan Rue, Stephen Pepper, and Chris Alston all pitched well for the Spartans.  Alex Brown had two big hits off the left field screen and drove in two runs.  Patrick Hartman also drove in two runs with a 5^th inning single with two outs to turn a tie game into a Spartan lead.  Locke Hoover added a hit and scored two runs and Stephen Pepper drove in a run with a 2-out double in the 6^th inning.  The Spartans will host Holy Innocent’s Thursday at 5:00.
