Just for your information, this morning Carole DeMonbreun announced a change to Village faculty and staff for the coming year.  Carole is stepping out of her role as Village Principal, after serving in that position since the Village’s inception as a separate school division back in fall 1997, and was Elementary Principal prior to that.  She has served faithfully and well.  Carole is not leaving us.  Instead, she is simply moving for the coming year to a new role as Director of Grant Writing.  Carole will also help in alumni research and serve as a good will ambassador for the school.  

I’m pleased that Rhonda Hawkins will be assuming the role of Village Principal.  Most of you know well Rhonda’s love of our children and stellar skills and qualifications as an educational and Christian leader.  She will no doubt bring many strengths to the Village.  Rhonda continues as Academic Support Director as well.

There will be other times to congratulate and wish both these leaders well in their new roles, but I just wanted you to be aware of this change.  Thanks so much.
