GAC Tennis

Congratulations to the tennis teams who had outstanding showings in the Buckhead Rotary Tennis Tournament this past weekend.  The girls defeated Savannah Country Day Friday night and Brookstone Saturday morning. In the finals our girls lost a tough 3-2 match to Darlington School to come in second in the tournament.  Our guys defeated Oconee Co Friday night and Athens Academy Saturday morning. Saturday was a rematch of last year’s state finals as we played Pace Academy. Our guys won by the score of 4-1 to come in first place in the tournament.  Both varsity teams play Athens Academy at home this afternoon after school. Come watch some great tennis.
