The Lady Spartans Lacrosse team played their best overall game of the season Friday night as they stunned the Centennial Lady Knights, 8-6. Savannah Lazarus netted five goals while Reagan Page had a pair of goals. Lauren Sgro added a single goal and Corbin Aiken, Meagan Thomas and Austin Macenczak each had an assist. Katie Bolton was outstanding in goal stopping 16 of 22 shots to get her first win of the season. Thanks to the fans who braved the freezing weather to make a lot of noise for the Lady Spartans Friday night. The squad will play again on Tuesday night at 6:00 at home against Starr's Mill in the final home game of the season. Come out and show your support for these ladies as they go for two in a row!
Lady Spartans Lacrosse practice will be at the stadium today from 3:30 - 4:30. Practice starts at 3:30 SHARP and players should be dressed and on the field and ready to go at that time.
The boys’ lacrosse team defeated Pace Academy Saturday 8-4. The final Boys home game is tonight at 6 PM against Decatur High School. Boys’ lacrosse players are to report to the study hall room by 4 PM.
