Baseball

The varsity baseball team defeated Banks Co. by the score of 19-1 yesterday.  Brent Burrows was the winning pitcher and Lee Chapple, Brent Burrows, Dillon Geraghty, Mark Edwards and Landon Bennett all had two or more hits.

The jv baseball team lost a tough game to Buford yesterday.  Chris Alston and Stephen Pepper pitched well for the Spartans.  Regan Rue led the hitting attack with three hits and Justin Ernest and Travis Elrod had two hits each.  Alex Brown drove in three runs with a two-out double.  The Spartans travel to Buford today to play at 5:30.
