Soccer- region play-offs

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to the Lady Spartan Varsity Soccer team for their 2-0 region semi-final win over Buford last night.  Sarah Brummett scored both goals, receiving assists from Sarah Gwyn & Sammy A brahart.  Gillian Potts and the defense secured the shut-out with a tremendous effort.  The ladies play for the Region Championship this Fri day at Providence beginning at 4:00.  Please come over to Providence and support the ladies by making lots of noise.  Free soft drinks will be availa ble. 

The boy’s varsity soccer team won a thriller on the hill last night vs. Providence 3-2.  Sam Arthur led the way with two goals, and Chris Thomas added to his four goals against Union County with a tremendous game winner in the second half.  Numerous good performers include Nick Ramon, Matt Carroll and keeper Matt Wolfe.  It was a great Team performance.  The Spartans wish to thank the big crowd for the great support last night, and we would like to invite you to come out and see us on Fri day night on the hill vs. Buford with the region Championship on the line.  Game time is 7:00
