GAC Baseball

The V baseball team plays Dawson Co. at home today at 5:30.

The JV baseball team picked up an exciting come-from-behind win over Westminster Friday afternoon.  Trailing 10-7 going into the bottom of the 7^th, the Spartans scored 4 runs without an out and defeated Westminster 11-7.  Travis Elrod got his first pitching win and also scored the winning run.  Justin Ernest drove in the game winning run with a bases-loaded single.  Chris Alston scored 4 runs.  Stephen Pepper drove in run runs and Patrick Hartman drove in two.  Alex Brown had 3 hits for the Spartans and Patrick Hartman and Stephen Pepper had two each.  The Spartans play Providence Tuesday and Thursday this week at home to finish out their season.
