The cross country teams race twice this week. Coach Brad Kinser's runners go to the War Eagle Invitational at Chestatee High School in Gainesville
tomorrow. Saturday the Wesleyan School hosts the Gwinnett County Meet.

"Strive For Excellence" is one of the Spartan football team's goals for
2004, and it was met with an emotional victory over Wesleyan last Friday.
GAC hosts region opponent Banks County this Friday night at the Stadium.

Last week Coach Kristy Shelton's volleyball team knocked off two Gwinnett
AAAAA opponents, Berkmar and Duluth. The Lady Spartans, ranked #7 in the
AA/A coaches' poll, host area rivals Providence and Brenau, tomorrow in the
Bradford Gym and play Central Gwinnett and Brookwood on Thursday at
Brookwood. Saturday the squad travels to Rome for the Darlington
Invitational.
