GACS boys track-Wins region!!

Congratulations to the boys track team in winning the region track meet last night at Buford. This was the 6th year in a row the Spartans have been region champions. Several boys qualified for the state meet which will be in Jefferson May 11th -13th.
Michael Hughes—200 meters
Meko McCray—100 meters
Hunter Treadaway—110 hurdles and 300 hurdles
Justin Schneider—800 meters
Frank Bolling ---800 meters
Ty Shelton—3200 meters
Quinten Plair—400 meters
4 x 400 relay team—Justin Schneider, Michael Hughes, Frank Bolling, Quinten Plair
Congratulations to the Boys track team for a good showing at the 1st day of the region meet. The following boys qualified for the state meet yesterday:
Meko McCray—long jump, triple jump
Justin Schneider—1600 meters
Frank Bolling---1600 meters
Michael Hughes—Pole vault
Several boys qualified for today’s running finals at Buford starting at 2:00 PM
The Region track meet times have been moved up from 4:00 to 2:00 because of the threat of rain. The following boys need to go to lunch at 11:30 and then be dismissed for the region meet:
